Ingredients
Crust
- 1 ½ cups blanched almond flour
- ¼ cup melted coconut oil
- 2 ½ tbsp pure maple syrup
- Pinch of salt
Filling
- ½ cup coconut sugar
- ½ cup pure maple syrup
- ¾ cup chopped pecans
- ¾ cup Vine to Bar Dark Chocolate Covered Almonds, chopped
- Flaky salt, to top
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line a 8x8” baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix together the almond flour, coconut oil, maple syrup, and a pinch of salt until a sticky dough forms.
- Pour the dough into the lined baking dish and press evenly to cover the entire dish. Bake for 8 minutes then remove from the oven. Set aside.
- Pour the coconut sugar and maple syrup into a small pot over medium heat. Once the mixture begins to bubble, reduce the heat to medium-low, whisking for about 3-5 minutes.
- Pour over the par-baked crust followed by sprinkling the pecans and chocolate covered almonds over the caramel mixture evenly.
- Bake for another 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and sprinkle a generous pinch of flaky salt over the top. Let cool completely, then transfer to the fridge for at least two hours before slicing and serving.
